National Civil Engineering firm is looking for an internal permit technician to work on engineering projects and ensure progress through communication with municipalities and project owners.  Must have knowledge of the permitting process and interfacing with engineers and municipal employees to gather information on outstanding and pending permits.  

Permit application review to ensure completeness and accuracy
Fees calculation verification
Building permit processing and issuance
Ensure all conditions of approvals are met prior to permit issuance
Verification that projects have obtained all necessary approvals for permit issuance
Coordination and routing of construction documents to the appropriate staff for plan review and approval

Requirements:

• BS Degree
• 2 years land development and construction permitting experience
• Commercial, residential and public works projects
