National engineering firm is looking for a plan review engineer in Central Florida location. The plan review engineer will review construction documents to ensure proper codes are being followed, as well as communicate approvals/disapprovals to appropriate staff. You will also work with property owners and/or public agencies to provide technical assistance, resolve complaints, and provide corrective action. Understanding of construction documents, codes, methods, practices, etc. is essential in this position.

Requirements:

• Municipal code knowledge and application
• Associates degree in related field with 3 years of experience as a Plans Examiner OR 5 years of experience as a Plans Examiner
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
