National engineering firm with a focus on water related projects is looking for a team leader in the Tempe, Arizona office to lead the water/wastewater construction group.

Must have experience and deep knowledge of the water wastewater industry, particularly the construction of those facilities.

Will manage the construction administration and execution, including the acquisition process of those projects. Must have a background in business development, proposals, and marketing inside the water wastewater industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned construction engineer that has been exposed to business development and is ready to take the next step into a construction director role.

General responsibilities in the role:

• Lead construction projects from proposal through completion.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers in the development and execution of water-related construction projects. 
• Lead the client interaction on construction projects and collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on project progress, and address any concerns or issues that may arise during the design phase and develop future opportunities.

Requirements:

• BS Degree
• PE in Arizona
• Construction Management experience for Water/Wastewater facilities
• Business development knowledge
