We are seeking a detailed and experienced Structural Inspector/Structural Detailer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work both in the field and in the office. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and evaluating the structural integrity of buildings and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations. Additionally, you can use your structural detailing skills in Revit to create drawings for our structural projects (mostly commercial and industrial projects).  

Even if you are stronger in one area or the other (inspections or detailing) this could be an excellent opportunity for you to grow! In this role you will conduct thorough inspections of commercial and industrial structures to assess their condition and compliance with approved permit documents. During inspection you will assess and identify any structural issues or deficiencies and ensure that the materials and workmanship adhere to project specifications, and then provide detailed reports outlining the findings.  

You will have the opportunity to collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to address and rectify any structural concerns found through the inspection process, including updating structural Revit drawings. Additionally, you will get to help create the initial design documents for use in the structural build .

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural inspection or a structural Revit detailing experience
• Up to date knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
